ABOUT ME
I’ve never been one to follow the script in business or in life. After more than 20 years in corporate America and a decade as an entrepreneur, I’ve learned that real success rarely fits neatly inside a box. It’s built through resourcefulness, resilience, creativity, and the willingness to take action even when the path isn’t perfectly mapped out.
That belief inspired Success... Off Script.
The Foundation I Didn’t Know I Was Building
My path to helping people think on their feet started long before I ever stepped into corporate America or launched a business.
I was the classic high achieving kid. I did well in school and stayed involved in a wide range of activities, including theater, music, and dance. One of the most influential experiences was being part of a mime and comedy troupe where all of the comedy was improv. At the time, it was simply fun. I had no idea that the skills I was learning would later become enormously valuable in my professional life.

From Improv Comedy to Corporate Pressure
My professional career has included client and vendor relations, issue resolution, cross functional leadership, staff training and development, project management, reporting and analytics, and process improvement. I wrote more SOPs than I can count, so yes, I absolutely believe in documentation and scripting where they make sense. But over time, I discovered something that structured scripts can't always provide.
That realization came during high stakes client calls with as many as 200 people listening. Problems often surfaced in real time, and I had to respond clearly, calmly, and confidently, even when I was hearing about the issue for the first time. After these calls, colleagues frequently shared how impressed they were that I could jump in and speak or present without any preparation. That was the moment I realized what had been happening. My teenage improv experience had been quietly shaping my abilities all along.
Seeing the Same Struggle Everywhere
Later, as I spent more time in networking environments and entrepreneur groups, I began seeing a common theme. Many highly capable people struggled to speak naturally about who they were and what they offered. They often leaned heavily on scripts, which created a disconnect and made them sound less genuine. They didn't need more information. They needed more comfort in the moment.
This is where my unique combination of business expertise, communication skills, and improvisation training came together. I realized I could help people tap into clarity, confidence, and presence without relying on memorized lines.
That spark became the foundation for Success Off Script.
What I Bring to the Table
I combine:
-
A global MBA and 20 years of corporate experience
-
A decade of entrepreneurship across multiple businesses
-
Core strengths in communication, problem solving, leadership development, and process improvement
-
A human centered approach that uses improvisation to help people adapt, connect, and stay grounded under pressure
My style blends structure with spontaneity. We focus on practical, real world skills, and we also make room for fun and creative thinking. The goal is not to turn anyone into a comedian. The goal is to help people feel present, flexible, and confident even when something unexpected happens.
The Personal Side
I believe strongly in authenticity, humor, and embracing individuality. One of my own favorite forms of expression is my bright, bold hair. It reminds me that professionalism doesn't require blending in or conforming to expectations.
My intention is to create spaces where people feel safe showing up as their real selves. That includes their strengths, their nerves, their quirks, and their humanity. Success isn't about perfection. It's about being adaptable, genuine, and willing to go off the script when the moment calls for it.
